Durga Puja

The GNBS Durga Puja is the soul of our community — a heartfelt celebration that fills Greater Noida with the warmth of Bengali culture, devotion, and togetherness.

Each year, the festival transforms into a joyous reunion, with friends, families, and well-wishers gathering to welcome Maa Durga with love, music, and laughter. The rhythmic beats of the dhak, the scent of shiuli flowers, and the glow of lamps create an atmosphere that feels like home, no matter how far we are from Bengal.

A highlight of the celebration is the Kumari Puja, where the divine feminine is honoured in its purest form — symbolising strength, purity, and grace. Along with rituals, cultural performances, and the sharing of bhog prasad, the event radiates a spirit of belonging that truly defines the Greater Noida Bangiya Samaj.
