Refund Policy

1. Introduction

Greater Noida Bangiya Samaj (“GNBS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a non-profit cultural and social organisation dedicated to community welfare, cultural promotion, and social service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which payments made to GNBS — including membership fees, event registrations, and donations — may be eligible for refund. By making a payment through our website [www.gnbs.in], you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Donations

All donations made to GNBS are non-refundable.
Once a donation is made — whether online, by cheque, or through any other mode — it is considered final.
Refunds or cancellations of donations will not be entertained, except in the rare case of a transactional error such as:

  • Duplicate payment due to technical issues, or

  • Incorrect amount charged due to a website or payment gateway malfunction.

If such an error occurs, please notify us within 7 days of the transaction at [insert GNBS email address] with supporting details (transaction ID, payment mode, date, etc.).
After verification, any genuine refund will be processed within 10–15 working days via the original payment method.

 

3. Membership Fees

Once paid, membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, as membership registration immediately grants access to member benefits, community communications, and participation rights.

In exceptional cases (such as accidental duplicate membership payment), a refund may be issued at the discretion of the GNBS Executive Committee, after proper verification.

4. Event Registrations and Ticketed Programs

For events, cultural programs, or workshops organised by GNBS:

  • Cancellation by Participant:

    • The cancellation terms for each event will be specified separately at the time of ticket purchase.

  • Cancellation or Postponement by GNBS:

    • If GNBS cancels or reschedules an event, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.

All refund requests must be sent to info@gnbs.in with payment details and the reason for the request.

 

5. Payment Disputes

In case of any dispute related to payments, please reach out to us directly at [insert GNBS email address] before contacting your bank or payment provider.
We are committed to resolving issues amicably and promptly.

 

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds will typically be processed within 10–15 working days and credited to the original payment method.
Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway policies.
